My worries were justified!!!

Last night I made a discovery as it seems Flash has been up to no good as it looks like when he stepped on the nest to chase the female off he pushed one which 
rolled out of the nest and into the water about 2m away.

 he just sits there for 30mins just staring at her.

She notices an egg missing at first light

One less egg in the nest hopefully these will survive but what will happen 
the Goslings when they first hatch out from the eggs!!!
