Think I saw one of these fellows this morning, it landed on my gooseberry plant and stayed put for a while.... It's wings were beautifully golden and shiny in the early morning sun. Forgot it was still there and was forking round the bush to get rid of weeds, then it buzzed angrily round me for a second or two like it was chastising me for my thoughtlessness. Nice encounter though... Seem to see more dragonflies now. Dragonflies seemed common when I was a child but then a period whereby I never saw them. Hope its a good sign
