The first few days in North Wales

After a few days on the North wales coast the weather has been a mix of warm sunny days to wet, windy and overcast but we have got some photos/video of a number of birds i have never filmed or have not get managed to get so close to as most of the birds below were down on the sand dunes near a golf coarse and only a few minutes from the caravan we were staying at.

Kestrel hovering over its prey
Skylark on the Golf coarse
Stonechat on a bramble on the sand dunes
Yesterday we bumped into our old friends the Turnstones and as usual they allowed us to get close enough for some wonderful shots of them feeding down on the rocky gronyes that protect the beach from the stormy waves, since my first encounter these delightful little waders the Turnstones are now my favourite bird and i usually like to see them in there small groups as they feed in there unique style as there name suggests.

Tomorrow we are off to find a Dotteral that was spotted nearby well on the Great orme  an hour away on the bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
