After returning from my holiday I went to check on my local Great crested grebe pair and I am pleased to say they have 3 chicks also known as Puli which ride on the parents back as well as being able to dive at a week old. I tried to get close but they completely kept away so I left them to it knowing they were safe and had survived while I have been away.
I will try setting up in my kayak hide to get some footage and photos of them sometime this week but as I only have 9 days left before I return to N.Wales for my last weeks filming until September I may have to much to do already.
