Peg legged Oystercatcher feeding by the pier

When in Wales we walk miles to look for and film wildlife and one of my favorite areas to look is off the pier for Gannets and marine mammals mainly but today the waders have returned to feed after the tide had gone out but one Oystercatcher stood out due to it's strange 
looking foot and it's hoping around in and out of the waves.
 

As you can see the birds no using the foot and if you look on the photo below you can see in more detail and in the footage how it's struggling to walk without it.
