A short walk in the rain by the still frozen river

After still feeling abit under the weather I decided not to go to far from home and I chose to go on one of my favourite short circular walks which I go out of my front door and turn right to go by the river Dane then along part of the canal and back next to the river further upstream and then return to my house from the opposite direction.
I stopped for rest about of half way round and I could not believe what I could see in a tree across the river, a juvenile Buzzard landed and stayed there for a few minutes allowing for a few shots before flying off and ending up with a pair of adult birds that nest by the river most years. They began driving the young bird out of the area and at one point they talon locked and fell to the ground in mass of feathers it was an amazing thing to see at such close quarters.
Here's a shot of a Cormorant that I got very close to and it kept fishing as I sat on the river bank right next to it a very special encounter.

  2. Just check my site I use the Bushnell IR 8MP remote camera as its small meaning once you put it in the countryside it's very hard for anyone to discover it and is only £220.

  5. hi, i've been looking at the Bushnell IR 8mp, and it looks great, i can get the it for £187 with postage and packaging on the web, but i'd kind of like to get it from you as your videos are the reason i'm interested in getting a camera trap, i was wondering if you might be able to lower your price at all? i wouldn't ask but i'm only 15 so i don't exactly have money to spare so i can't really find an extra £45 pounds.
    thanks,
    Oli

  6. Unfortionately if I did that I would be losing money as we only make a small amount of profit on the Bushnells due to import costs.
