Filming Starlings at sunset at Croxton flashes

I ended up going to film the Starlings roost display which really kicks up at this time of year due to migrating birds arriving inland and the canal was totally frozen and looked stunning as the sunset.

The main event that happend was as a small group of 100 starlings landed in the reed beds in came a bird of prey but I could not identify what it was but maybe a Perigrine due to the speed but I managed to record the bird in flight as it went after a bird in the reeds but as its on Mini  DV so I will post once I convert on my old pc as my new pc does not seem to have a firewire input.
